GOD AND GOD ALONE: Night of Worship 4.0, November 16 with Kurt Carr, Jonathan Nelson, Sonnie Badu and Others.

Tucked in 1Chronicles 29:11 is one powerful prayer by King David: “Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendour, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, O LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted over all. The prayer emphasizes the greatness of GOD and GOD alone. This prayer would be on everyone’s lips come November 16 as people from various ethnic backgrounds and denominations gather for an all-night worship encounter in a worship meeting hosted by Joshuaville, of The Redeemed Christian Church of God. The venue for this unique worship meeting is The Promise Land opp The City of David Church, Victoria Island, Lagos. The vision of Night of Worship is simple: “To create an atmosphere for an all night worship experience where people gather to worship the Lord for who He is, and not for the things He has or will do.” On the nature of this year’s edition, a quote from the convenor on the official website of the meeting says: “The previous Nights of Worship have been a truly awesome time of experiencing firsthand the amazing presence of God. The power of God has clearly been evident and now with a leading from God and under the watchful eye of our Senior Pastor and mentor, it is time to take the programme up a step higher; first, with the invitation of international worship ministers and second by providing the avenue for people to come worship God in the beauty of His holiness.” Ministering as ‘Guest Worshippers’ at Night of Worship 4.0 would be Multi-Stellar Award winner Jonathan Nelson, Popular International gospel artiste Kurt Carr & Kurt Carr Singers, and one of the most successful worship leaders to emerge from Africa in recent years, multiple award-winning Ghanaian gospel artiste, Sonnie Badu.
Other ministers at the event would be Euphoria, The voices in Zion, The Sounds of Heaven & The Psalmists amidst others. Attendance is free and open to all. The meeting is scheduled to commence at 10pm on Friday, November 16th. This year’s edition is the fourth in the series of the Night of Worship programme hosted by Joshuaville in November every year. Joshuaville, according to j-ville.org, is an assembly of Young Professionals representing a fresh generation able to conceive and achieve more than our predecessors (Joshua 1:1-3). Joshua Ville was inaugurated on the 10th of January, 2010 by Pastor E.A. Adeboye, the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God and is the offspring of The City of David Parish.
